Wright and P. Ryan. All players to meet on Thursday for practice. ' THE ASSOCIATION GAME. PUKEKOHE CLUB. The above club has joined up with the- Auckland district second division league and played their first home match at Pukekohe last Saturday, against Devonport jMethodist. The visitors arrived from Auckland late in the afternoon and the ball was not set going until 3J30. In the first half Pukekohe had all the best of the play and pressed their opponents’ coal very determinedly. Several attempts to put the balL between the posts failed, the whistle sounding halftime with no score on either side. In the second half the visitors livened up and scored twice in quick succession. Pukekohe’s turn came and they scored twice. Further play Drought no results and the whistle sounded time: Devonport 2, Pukekohe 2. The visitors were entertained by the home clufc at the Carnival tea rooms, afterv,ovris leaving for Auckland by the 6 pjn. train. If thePukekohe team stiteks together they should improve considerably with practice as time goes on.

The above club jourr/yed to Auckland on Saturday to try their luck -agaist W.Y.M.I. at Victoria Park and V ,rvn c-copppfnl in bringing off their fast win by 3 goo’s to 0. Of the three games Pukekohe have played so far have been a win, draw and loss.
