TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL.
MEETING OF ADVISORY GOMWiSTTEE. There were present at the April meeting of the Pukekohe High School Advisory Committee Messrs F. Perkins (chairman), W. F. Munro, J. G. Ward, J. Crosbie, J. Patterson, J. Rculston and A. F. Brown (secretary) . School Badges. After considerable discussion, Mr Brown moved and Mr Patterson seconded, that Messrs J. Roulston and J. G. Ward interview local business people re supplying the follwing articles: —Caps with black and cardinal quarters, black stockings with cardinal stripes and diamonds; jerseys, ties, and ribbons. Girls’ jerseys to have the school monogram worked on in wool and to have special cuffs edged with cardinal. School Grounds. On the motion of Messrs \yard and Roulston, it was decided that necessary ploughing round 1 the school #hd in the grounds be undertaken at once and that a fence be removed, also that blackberries be removed. Goal Posts. Mr Jas. Roulston kindly undertook to see that goal posts were supplied for football purposes. Inaugural Ceremony. The headmaster,, Mr Munro, explained the details of the inaugural ceremony which is to be held on May 6. Caretaker. It was agreed to appint a caretaker for the school.
