j The bazaar was an unqualified suc- | cess from every point of view and i ri.nht throughout arrangements were i complete, which reflected great credit on the committee, especially the secretaries, Miss Mable Clarke and Mr James Kennedy, who worked assiduously throughout the season. The dancing events, under the jurisdiction of Miss Vera Burmester, were watched with considerable interest and complimentary reference was heard on all sides as to the efficiency of the pupils. GUESSING. j The sheep was killed on Tuesday morning and weighed 72%1b. The winner is Mr M. Cronin, who guessed the exact weight. FOOTBALL MATCH. A football match between teams representing the Trades and Farmers took place and resulted in a win for the Trades by 66 points (a try by S. Marshall and a penalty goal by Sycamore) to 5 (a try by S. Cronin, converted by Reynolds). Mr B. Clarke capably refereed. ATHLETIC EVENTS. IOOYds Handicap: Noble 1, C. Maxwell 2, Parker 3. 220Yds Handicap: Parker 1, L. Rogers, 2, Noble 3. TUG-OF-WAR. The tug-ofwar match between teams representing Pukekohe and Panmure resulted in a win for the visitors by two pulls to one.
