NOTICE OF INTENTION TO BORROW. .Pursuant to Section 9 of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913,” notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Pukekohe Borough Council to raise a Special Loan of £4400 for the undermentioned purposes, viz:— (a) To acquire a piece of land 26a 3r 1.13 p, more or less, in extent, being- part of Suburban Section 12, Parish of Pukekohe, for .the purpose of a Public Domain and Scenic Reserve . . £4IOO (b) Payment of the cost of raising the loan and interest and sinking fund for the first year . . .. £3OO

The total amount proposed to be borrowed is .. .. £4400 The proposed security for the loan and for the payment of sinking fund (amounting to 1 per cent, per annum) and interest at sper cent, per annum, is a Special Rate of onefifth of a penny in the £ upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the Borough of Pukekche, and being an annual recurring rate for a period of six years, or until such time as the loan is fully repaid. The whole loan is to be repayable within a period of six years from the raising of the loan.
