NOTICE OF INTENTION TO BORROW. .Pursuant to Section 9 of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913,” notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Pukekohe Borough Council to raise a Special Loan of £4400 for the undermentioned purposes, viz:— (a) To acquire a piece of land 26a 3r 1.13 p, more or less, in extent, being- part of Suburban Section 12, Parish of Pukekohe, for .the purpose of a Public Domain and Scenic Reserve . . £4IOO (b) Payment of the cost of raising the loan and interest and sinking fund for the first year . . .. £3OO

The total amount proposed to be borrowed is .. .. £4400 The proposed security for the loan and for the payment of sinking fund (amounting to 1 per cent, per annum) and interest at sper cent, per annum, is a Special Rate of onefifth of a penny in the £ upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the Borough of Pukekche, and being an annual recurring rate for a period of six years, or until such time as the loan is fully repaid. The whole loan is to be repayable within a period of six years from the raising of the loan. It is proposed to pay out of the loan monies the cost of raising the loav. and the interest and sinking fund for the first year. •J. F. DEANE, Town Clerk.
