DISTRICT NEWS.
PAPAKURA, PAPAKURA TENNIS CLUB. The annual general meeting of the Fapakura Lawn Tennis Club was held on Monday night, at which the report an ad balance sheet were read and auopted., It was decided that the annual ball should be held on April 20. A tournament, the proceeds of which are to be given to the Soldiers’ Memorial Fund, is to be held on April 23, the closing day. Inter-club matches are now finished for the season, but the Manukau Association’s tournaments are skill being played on the Ardmore courts.
