A £IOO prize offered by an American newspaper for the best design for a model small kitchen has been won, out of 343 drawings submitted, by Mr A. T. Thorne, of Tulsa, Oklahoma son of Mr A. Thorne, of Auckland. The winner’s design was judged to provide for the greatest simplification of kitchen processes and a minimum of waste time.
