PUKEKOHE V. TUAKAU. Pukekohe met Tuakau on the home ground on Saturday last, the game ending in an easy victory for Pukekohe. Tuakau batted first, and Pukekohe dismissed them for a total of 15. Pook (8) made the top score for Tuakau. Fitness and Hill opened the hatting for Pukekohe, but Fitness lost his partner in the third over, Ewing taking an easy catch at midwicket. D. Blake (12) was getting a'ong nicely when he was bowled by Cruickshank. Tonkin (38) then joined Fitness and the partnership lasted till the two retired, the total for two wickets being 118.
