CLEVEDON.

ANNUAL PICNIC. The annual picnic of the Clevedon branch of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union took place at the Show Grounds, Clevedon, on Thursday, March 17. The gathering, which was very largely attended by local farmers and their friends was most successful. The entries were numerous and all the events were keenly contested.
