ENTERTAINMENTS.

ODDFELLOLWS’ HALL. WEDNESDAY NEXT. Peggy Hyland, the dainty William Fox star, will be seen at the' Odd fellows’ Hall on Wednesday next in her new photo-play of circus life, “The Merry-go-round.” Miss Hyland assumes the role of the fortune teller’s daughter in a dilapidated circus. Jack Hatherton, aiich young clubman, steers his automobile into a ditch-near the circus encampment, and is forced to buy the entire show to get the use of a merry-go-round tractor to extricate his car. He falls in love with Gypsy (Peggie Hyland) at first sight. Subsequent events show' that Gypsy is the daughter of wealthy city parents—but had been kidnapped when a small child —and that her father has just ruined Jack in business. How Gypsy, claimed by her parents, manages to lose her newdygained and irksome social position and gets Jack back, supplies the sensations of a very lively story. This picture is supported by “The Beast.” THE STRAND.
