An unfortunate altercation took place at a well known restaurant in the city at dinner the other night. One of the diners asked for some Turkey without Greece, and the waitress rudely replied: "You must he German!” “No; I’m Hungary,” replied the diner. His friend nudged him. “Don’t Russia or she won’t Servia.” The waitress then retired, but returned, saying: “Do you intend to Romania?” The man replied; — “Yes; 1 want Samoa.” The waitress then became annoyed, and exclaimed: — "Ring the Belgium, and I’ll call Nancy.” She returned to the diner, “This will cost you a New Guinea,” she added with a toss of her head.
