A young woman had come to his shop with a prescription to be made up. As it was for a baby only twelve months old, the chemist was paying extra attention to weighing out the various drugs.
Noticing tin's, the woman got annoyed with what she thought was meanness.
Aye, man,” she exclaimed, in dis gust, “ye need nae be sae sex-imped It's fox- a pxxix- nxithei’less bairn l”
