FRANKLIN LICENSING COMMITTEE.

The quarterly meeting of the above was held in the Pukekohe Courthouse yesterday and there were present: R. M. Watson, Esq. (chairman), and Messrs C. K. Laurie, W. C. Motion, rnd D. Fulton (members). It was moved, seconded and carried that a motion of condolence be passed to the widow of the late D. W. •Tones, Esq., late member of the Franklin Licensing Committee, and that a letter be forwarded to Mrs. Jones. The motion was carried Oy the members of the committee standing. A welcome \vas extended to R. M. Watson, Esq., S.M. (chairman) Oy members of the committee.

A permanent transfer of the license of the Kentish Hotel, Waiuku, was granted to Laurence Dunn.
