NOTHING SUCCEEDS LIKE SUCCESS.
We have much pleasure in extending a welcome to Mr. W. Fleming, storekeeper, of Bombay, who is open--ing a cash grocery branch in this 1 town, and we wish him every measure of success. It is a little over two and a-balf years since Mr. Fleming bought his Bombay business, and in this short time the trade has almost doubled, due entirely to his keen business methods and knowledge of buying, derived from being a commercial traveller and salesman for many years with one of the largest wholesale houses in Auckland. This store now employs nine assistants to deal with the large volume of business, and for an upMo-date country store there is not its equal in the Auckland Province. Mr. Fleming informs us that this branch will be run on strictly cash lines and at prices that will certainly reduce the cost of living in and around this district.
