PERSONAL.
At Wednesday’s meeting of the Borough Council, the Mayor (Mr C. K. Lawrie) moved that the Council place on record its appreciation of the excellent work done by Mr J. G. Rutherford during his 18 years as representative of the district on the Auckland Hospital and Charitable Aid, Board. The motion was carried unanimously, and the Clerk was instructed to convey the Council’s appreciation and good wishes to Mr Rutherford, and to thank him for the arduous work he performed..
