GREAT SOUTH ROAD.

PAPAKURA’S PORTION TO BE REPAIRED. The advisability of effecting immediate repairs to the Papakura Town Board’s portion of the Great South Road, was urged at last night’s meeting. Members recognised the fact that it was the worst road in the disti’ict, and if immediate steps were not taken to repair it, it would soon become impassable. The Works Committee was empowered to have the work done as soon as possible.
