TRAINING PLANE MISSING
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Oct. 24
An aircraft' of -i-he engaged on a coastal training flight is overdue. Last evening, when it failed to return to its base, a search was immediately instituted, without success. The occupants of the plane were;— Pilot-officer Rodney George Dandy v (wife, Mrs R. G. Dandy, Wellington); Sergeant Douglas Gordon Martyu. ( (mother, Mrs E. M. Martyu, Waihi); Sergeant Graham Macleod Martin (wife, Mrs G. M, Martin, Christchurch): Sergeant Edward Reid Dodson (wife, Mrs V. L. Dodson, Nelson).
