“CO-ED"
A CLUB FOR YOUTH
Under the auspices of the Y.W.C.A., and at its rooms, members of the University Students’ Christian Movement, assisted’ by Y.W.C.A. staff members, have for some weeks past been holding meetings every Sunday night for the entertainment of youth of both sexes who might otherwise have too much time on their hands. The programmes have included community singing, a talk, and supper, followed by a brief service for those who care to remain, and the attendances have reached about 150 The movement has now been organised into a club, called the Cc-educaiional Club— “ Co-Ed ” coverina ages from 12 to 18. with a con. trolling' committee of participating youth loaders and an advisory board, designed to represent as many denominations as possible. of which the Rev. B. H. Uiseley was elected chairman. The activities secretary of the Y.W.C.A. (Miss Wright) will ex ofiieio be a member of ell crmnrt ees including the Advisory Board, of which she is the secretary.
