flyikg officer j. m. paape Yesterday private advice was received that Flving-officer John Mitchell Paape, son of Mr and Mrs A. A. Paape._ has been reported missing on air operations. Flying-officer Paape was recently appointed to his present rank from that of pilot officer. Prior to enlisting in. the Air Force he was a housemaster at Waitaki Boys’ High School. He obtained his M.A, degree at Otago Dniversitv, and as a graduate student entered the Training College in 1937.
