THREE WELL-KH&WN HORSES TF.OTTfR HATRACK SUCCUMBS (P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH. Oct. 20. The trotter Hatraek is dead and the pacers Burt Scott and Bronze Eagle are in a critical condition as the result of a sudden illness. Bronze Eagle is a Trotting Cup candidate. The three horses developed dangerous symptoms some time ago. Hatraek died a week later, and it looked for a time as if Burt Scott and Bronze Eagle would also succumb. (Burt Scott has since shown an improvement, and there are now signs also that BVonze Eagle may recover, although both arc still in a serious condition.
