STIRLING SQUADRON
FEW ZEALAND REPRESENTED (N.Z.P.A. Special Correspondent.) LONDON, October 14. The,High Commissioner, Mr W. J. Jordan, who paid a visit to a Stirling squadron, met many New Zealanders who are operating these heavy bombers. They include Pilot-officers D. Ncwall (Timaru), O. Patrick (Dunedin), F. G. Jones, L. J. Drummond ( Auckland), and H. S. Gilberd (Wellington), Flight-sergeants E. H. Howell (Wellington) and K. Smith (Auckland), Sergeants P. A. Iloadomski ('Wellington). L. K. Warren. __ i. Connelly (Auckland), K. G. McKenzie (Invercargill). M. Torrance (Christchurch). W. L. Harvey (Central Otago). Scott Craw (Banks Peninsula), and H. G. Whitewell. Many of these had nearly completed their operational Sergeant Torrance secured the probable destruction of a Messerschmitt near Wilhelmshaven.
