SESSIONAL SPECULATION
WAIKATO STRIKE TOPIC (Special.) WELLINGTON. Oct. 14. Speculation regarding the session opening to-day includes the suggestion that the Opposition will stage a uo-cou-fidence motion based on the Government’s handling of strikes, including the Waikato coal miners’. However, no decision can 'be made till the meeting of the party later this week. It has also been suggested that Messrs Coates and Hamilton he asked to change from their front bench ■ Opposition seats, but inquiries support the view that no such development is likely.
