TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS IN BRITAIN
(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Sept. 5. Travel by road and rail in Britain will be further restricted this winter to make room for the growing volume of military and essential traffic and to save fuel and rubber. Cheap day and travel tickets for pleasure will _ he stopped, and parents and relatives visiting evacuated children will be allowed three trips only in six months. Evacuated or transferred civil servants will he allowed only two trips home. Travel warrants for the services will also be restricted.
