FIVE MINES IDLE 1,000 MEN AFFECTED (P.A.) HAMILTON, Sept. 8. The Rotowaro, Alison, Renown, McDonald, and Glen Afton miners in the Huntiy area struck this morning in sympathy with the men at Pukemiro, following stop-work meetings at the respective pitheads. Approximately 1,000 men are affected. »
