0 God Who hast created Thy church to be the instrument jor the accomplishment of Thy purposes in the world, we thank Thee for its worship,, witness, and tvork down through the centuries. Endue the Church at this time with Thy Holy Spirit that, in spite of its divisions, it shall be united in service under one King and Head. May the Church fearlessly challenge men everytvhere to acknowledge and obey Thee, Who alone art God, and minister the gospel of Thy love to all needy souls and troubled hearts.
