VALUELESS CHEQUES

(P.A.) NEW’ PLYMOLTH, Sept. 4. W’illiam George Thomas pleaded guilty m the Police Court, this morning to four charges of the (heft of cheque forms and 82 charges of false preionces and issuing valueless cheques by which he obtained goods and money of a total value of £453 Is 7d. The offences occurred in all parts of the Dominion between April, 1939, and August, 1942. He was committed to the Supreme Court at Wellington for sentence.
