MORNINGTON TENNIS CLUB
The fourth annual meeting was held in the Hornington Tramways Hall on Monday. Dr E. H. Williams, the president, occupied the chair.
The annual report and balance sheet showed the dub to bo in a good financial position in spite of adverse war conditions. The following officers were elected: — Patron, Mr P. Neilson, M.P.; president, Dr E. H. Williams; vice-presidents, Mr J. P. S. On- and Mrs N. Linosay; secretary, Mr W. J. Allpress; assistant secretary, Miss J. Martin; club captain, Mrs R. Johnston; treasurer. Mr E. Raymond: committee — Miss Dodd, Miss Beveridge, Mrs Raymond, Mr W. Reid; auditor, Mr A. Gibson ; delegates to 0.L.T.A., Mrs R. Johnston and Mr N. Lindsay. Several new members were accepted. The opening day will be September 12.
