BY the Shipping Control (Wellington) ■ Notice, 1942, and by the Skipping Safety (Wellington) Order, 1942, the Naval Board and the Minister of Defence respectively have forbidden—- ' (a) The ANCHORAGE of ALL VESSELS (COMPRISING SHIPPING AND CRAFT OF EVERY DESCRIPTION, INCLUDING ROWING BOATS) in the waters described in the First Schedule hereto, other than that part of those waters included in the examination anchorage for the Port of Wellington. (b) The PASSAGE of ALL CRAFT ENGAGED IN PISHING through the waters described in the First Schedule hereto. (o) The PASSAGE of ALL VESSELS through the waters described in the Second Schedule hereto, except in accordance with the terms and conditions of a written permit granted by the Naval Control Service Officer at Wellington. Such a permit need not be obtained in the caso of small craft entering the port and passing through the examination service. By the Notice the Public Traffic Regulations, 1959, for the Port of Wellington are amended by revoking paragraph 22 and substituting the following paragraph, DEFINING THE NEW EXAMINATION ANCHORAGE;—“ 22. Examination Anchorage, Position,' and Limits; The examination anchorage is situated in Worser Bay within the following limits; From a position OOOdeg 4.5 cables from Steeple Rock Beacon in lat. 41deg 19miu 28sec S., long 174tleg 60min 48sec E., in a 270 deg direction for 3.5 cables; thence, in a OOOdeg direction for 7 cables; thence in a 090dcg direction for 5.5 cables; thence by a right line to the above-mentioned position”; and by revoking clause (3) of paragraph 29 as sot out in Notice to Mariners No. 21, of 1941. The full terms of- both are published in the supplement to the Gazetto ’ of August 27, 1942. FIRST SCHEDULE. PROHIBITED ANCHORAGE AND FISHING AREA. Tbo waters, m and 'near the Port of Wellington within the following limits:— Prom Baring Head Lighthouse (lat. 41deg 24min 28see S.. long. 174 deg 52mm 20sec E.) in a 316 deg direction to the western entrance point of Lyall Bay; thence along the shore to Halswell Point: thence in a 087 deg direction to ,Days Bay Wharf; thence along the shore to Baring Head Lighthouse. SECOND SCHEDULE. PROHIBITED PASSAGE.
