MODEL ENGINEERING
Mr R. A. Douglas presided at _ the monthly meeting, of the Dunedin Model Engineering Club, and extended a welcome to Mr B. de B. Gates, who recently returned from Malaya. Some excellent model* were on view, including “ O ’’ gauge electric locomotives by Messrs' J. Turner .and Mason, and also a fine triple expansion steam engine by Mr D. L. Scott. _ An. interesting talk on Malaya was given by Mr Gates, who described the quaint methods Adopted by the motives when working with machinery, timber, and various metals.
