DAY OF PRAYER
FACILITIES FOR PARTICIPATION (British Official Wireless.) (Rec, 10.35 n.m.) RUGBY, Aug. 31. The Horae Secretary to-day reminded the public that, by the desire of the King, Thursday*, which is;the third anniversary! of the outbreak cjf the W|ir, is to he observed as a national prayer and dedication. In connection with the facilities which are Iheing given workers, members of the services, and children to participate in the morning broadcast service from 11 tQ 11.15, the Government desires that work should cease as far as is practicable during this quarter of an hour.
