HOGG.—On August 28, 1942, at Dunedin, Mary, beloved wife of the late Robert Cadel Hogg, of 21 Pretoria Avenue, St. Clair; aged 78 years. R.I.P. Requiem Maas at St. Bernadette’s Church, Forbury, on Monday, August 31, at 9 a.m. Private interment.—Cole and: Son, funeral directors.
SMAIL.—On August 28. m2, at her residence, 33 Forfar street, Mosgiel, Margaret Boss, eldest daughter of the late John and Williamina Will Smail, and beloved sister of' Mrs Snell, Mrs Christie, Mrs O’Hara, Mrs Pearce, and William Smail. _ Deeply mourned. —The Funeral will leave her late residence, 35 Forfar street, Mosgiel, on Monday, 31st inst., at 2 p.m., for the East Taieri Cemetery.—R. Campbell and Son, funeral directors, Mosgiel. WRIGHT.—On - August 29,, 1942. at Market street, St. Kilda, Sister Ann Wright, beloved sister of Mrs A. Leeden, Quendon Hospital. Private interment.
For the Empire’s Cause. BLACKLOCK.— Temporary Flight-sergeant Edward Francis, R.N.Z.A.F., dearly beloved son of Mrs M. C. and the late William Blacklock, 78 Melbourne street, South Dunedin. Killed in aircraft accident oversea*; aged 30 years. R.I.P.
