ROTTER DAM SHIPYARDS BOMBED. RUGBY. August 27.—An Air Ministry and Army communique stales; “ United States Flying Fortresses, escorted by Spitfires, bombed shipyards at Rotterdam late this afternoon. Hits were seen in the centre of the target and on two ships iu the dock area. None of our aircraft is missing. FLAG INSTRUCTION FOR DUKE’S FUNERAL.
