CARPENTER.—On August 27, 1942, at Dunedin, Surrey Beauford, beloved husband of Ellen Carpenter, of 66 Grove street, St. Kilda; in his eighty-fifth year.—The .Funeral will leave the Holy Cross Church, St. Kilda, on Saturday, August 29, at the conclusion of the service commencing at 1.45 p.m., for the Anderson's Bay Crematorium.—Hope and Kinaston, funeral directors.
DENTON.—On August 28, 1942, ai Dunedin, Helen Ross, beloved wife of the late Walter Frederick Denton, of Bay View road, Dunedin South. “ Her end was peace.”—The Funeral will leave the residence of her sister-in-law (Mrs Frost), 19 Trafalgar street, St. Kilda, To-morrow (Saturday), the 29th inst., at 2 p.m.. for the Anderson’s Bay Cemetery.—R. Olsen, 35 Harrington street, Port Chalmers, Arties Patterson Lindsay, widow of Thomas Lindsay, late of Palmerston South; in her eighty-eighth year. “At rest.”—Funeral will arrive at Palmerston Cemetery 12 noon, Saturday.—H. Strachan), 79 Cannington road, Maori Hill, Janet Donaldson Pickard, relict of Peter Pickard, and beloved mother of David and William G. Pickard and Mrs W.
