COMMUNITY SING

The proceeds of the combined community sing for children and adults, which will be held in the Empire Theatre to-morrow, will go to the Prisoner-of-war Weekly Parcels Appeal. Special attractions will be the appearance of Miss Ngairo Maxwell, who wnl contribute vocal numbers, Rex Anderson and Trevor Clark, members of the Christchurch Centennial Harmonica Band, who will bo heard in duets; and selections on the theatre organ by Mr A. Bidgood. The community singing will be led by Mr H. P. Desmoulins, with Mr A. Pettitt at the piano. Donations may be sent to the secretary, Mr J. P. Himburg, care of Begg’s.
