N.Z SKI UNIT IN SYRIA.—To the many people who have read letters from members of the 2nd N .Z.E.F, in Syria these two snaps will prove of interest. Upper is a view of the cedar basin under the southern arm of the Lebanons. Portion of the modern hotel at which some of the New Zealand ors stayed is seen on the extreme right. Lower is a ski section lined up on the slopes opposite the hotel. Two Dunedin men, both of whom have since been rennrted missing, are in the section. They are I van Hay (second from left) and “ Joe ” Walker (fourth from left).
