In meat preserving and loan and agency there were few changes reported. In gas, coal, and oil the market in Kaitangatas closed with a buyer offering 31s and a seller 2s away. The usual demand for woollens was maintained, with all local issues quoted at recent rates. In the miscellaneous section there was a general vising tendency, and a predominance of buyers. Booth Macdonald (prof.) were wanted at 6s 3d, and G. J. Coles at 49s 6d. Following a rcporled sale of Macduffs ford.) at 5s 9d 'this issue was still in demand at 5s 6d.
