BRITISH PUBLIC SCHOOLS
MEETING OF LOCAL CLUB The annual meeting of flip British Public Schools’ Club was held on Tuesday evening at the City Hotel. It was preceded by an informal dinner. A full discussion on malters of interest took place, including the 'welfare of members serving with the forces. There were present : Drs W. J. Mullin, D. W. Cannalt Jones, and J. B. Dawson, Messrs H. de C. McArthur, T. C. Ross, W. A. Ross, W. J. Morrell, S. E. D. Neill, P. 1.. Halsted, W. D. Jcnkin, J. G. Patterson, R. White, E. L. Eastgate, and E. Wood. Apologies were received from DiRussell Ritchie and Messrs J. Sutherland Ross, C. V. Smith, A. Eccles, G. HuysbcEliot, and G. R. Ritchie. Office-bearers for the forthcoming year were elected as follows:—President, Captain Richard White, vice-president, Captain S. E. D. Neill; committee —Dr Mullin, Messrs W. D. Jcnkin. J. Gi Patterson, T. C. Ross, and W. A. Ross; lion, auditor, Mr G. R. Ritchie; bon. secretary and treasurer, Mr E. Wood.
