There was a good attendance at the monthly meeting of the Dunedin branch of the Young People’s Christian Temperance Union. The feature of the meeting was the contribution of each member present to the programme of the evening. Informative temperance educational facts from notable medical and scientific authorities were read The president read a paper introducing the subject, ‘ Youth and Science Speak, and an interesting discussion followed.
