There are three children—Prince Edward, born October 9, 1935; Princess Alexandra, born December 25, 1936; and Prince' Michael, born July 4. 1942 (American Independence Day), President Roosevelt consenting to become one of the godparents. The full name of the recently-born prince is Michael George Charles Franklin, and be is to be known as Prince George of Kent.
