CHILD DROWNED. A child 2J years old, Mavis Colleen Fahev, whoso, parents reside in Beach street, Hokitika, fell over the wharf on Saturday and was drowned in the Hokitika Diver. The body was recovered yesterday on the sea heach.— Press Association. GAS TURNED ON. A Hokitika Association message read: Albert Thomas Howe, .single, was found dead in his home with the gas turned on. He was a painter by trade, aged about 40 years.
