ST. CLAIR PRESBYTERIANS

The thirty-fourth annual meeting of the .St. Clair Presbyterian Church was held on Wednesday night, the Rev. I. G. Borrie presiding over a good attendance of members; The reports of the various church organisations showed that the work of the church had been faithfully carried on, in spite of war difficulties. A number of members,' including seven deacons, were absent on war duties. The membership rofl of 301 showed a slight increase. The balance sheet showed a total income of £1,165 12s Id, and a balance of £63 5s 6d. The Assembly’s budget allocation of £285 had been fully met. . The Minister reviewed the work of the year, and thanked the office-bearers and other workers for their assistance. He then dealt with the current campaign for Christian order, and suggested ways of furthering its objects. During the evening vocal solos were contributed by Mias J. Delaney and Mr S. Fox.
