‘ HOWE-JOHNS.—On August 22, 1942, at the Little Sisters, Anderson’s Bay, Susan Howe-Johns, late of Lawrence; aged 74 years R.I.P. Requiem Mass at the Little Sisters, at Anderson’s Bay, on Tuesday, August 25, at 6.30 a.m—The Funeral will leave, the Little Sisters on Tuesday at 9 a.m., for the Anderson’s Bay Cemetery.— Cole and Son, funeral directors. SMITH.—On August 21, 1942, at Dunedin, Jessie Morrison Matilda, beloved wife of Richard James Seddon Smith, of 40 Cole street, Caversham (formerly of Gqraldine, Teraufca, and Christchurch); aged 41 years.
