POWERFUL BOMBERS AND LONGRANGE FIGHTERS PRODUCTION IN FULL SWING INTENSIFIED OFFENSIVE SHORTLY Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, October 6. The ‘ Daily Mail ’ says powerful new bombers are now being produced in great numbers, and an amazing new long-range fighter is likely to be used in the innnediate future for a greatly intensified offensive over Germany. The range of tbo new bomber will enable our pilots “ to sit over ” Berlin much longer than they have been -able hitherto, while the new fighter, which is a really astonishing machine, will enable the R.A.F. to carry out winter daylight raids over the Channel.
