NO WORK TO-DAY
MINERS PIQUED AGAIN [Per United Press Association.] GREYMOUTH. October 7. At a stop-work meeting this morning the Dobson Miners’ Union decided to do no work to-day as a protest against the public safety emergency regulations gazetted last week. It is understood that the motion was carried by a small majority It is improbable that work at the mine will be resumed tomorrow. [The regulation conferred right of dismissal in the interests of public safety.]
