TAIERI CROQUET CLUB
OPINING OF SEASON The Taieri Croquet Club’s lawns were opened on Saturday for the coming season, when there was a good attendance of members and visitors. Mrs E. Currie (president) welcomed the visitors, and this was acknowledged by the president of the Otago Croquet Association (Mrs .Tohn M’Donald), who made tho first hoop and declared the season opened. Afternoon tea was provided, and the visitors played friendly games on the lawns. The proceeds of sales at a market stall and a competition netted an addition to the club’s funds.
