Mr O. L. Fcrens, secretary of the Dunedin Returned Soldiers’ Association, returned from the north on Saturday after attending a mounted rifle* officers’ course. A cable message from London state* that Trinity, the famous Cambridge University College, will have an illustrious historian and a man of? letter* as its new master in Professor N. M.
