The location of the “Jfasre” is the Octagon and the surrounding streets. The entertainments comprise a Bathing Beauty Contest, all Sideshows, Games, Maypole Dancing, Sports, and an Exhibition of the Latest Products of our Manufacturers; also Flower, Fruit, Jam, Sweet, Handkerchief and Toy Stalls; competitions in Wrestling. Boxing, Weight Lifting and Weight Guessing. In fact, every conceivable entertainment will be offered. During the day, music will be provided by the Dunedin Highland Pipe and Brass Bands. Gipsy Fortune-tellers will amuse and entertain by Palmistry and Crystal-gazing, while Dunedin will be the Mecca of Gipsy Dancers from near and far. This H ©IDe English 3fa^re ,t will bring- back memories to many citizens who have seen such events in the British Isles. Those born in New Zealand and who have never jpeen an “ ®lbe EltQUsb 3fa£re”will remember the 19th Oct. all their lives. Look out for further advertisements.
