WEATHER FORECAST
FAIR TO FINE AND COOL The following weather forecast was issued at noon by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, covering the southern districts:— An anti-cyclone extends from New; South Wales to beyond Southern New; Zealand, while a vigorous depression is centred near the Kermadec- Islands. Light to moderate winds and variabla with southerlies predominating. Low clouds or fog on the coast, but weather otherwise fair to fine and cool. Sea* slight.
