ATTEMPTED RISING
CLASH IN MEXICO REBEL LEADER KILLED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright MONTEREY (Mexico), October 1. What the Government describes as an attempted rising in Monterey resulted in a clash between Government troops and Almazanista forces, in widen the Almazanistn leader, General Zarzosa, and a number of soldiers were killed. The clash followed attempts to arrest General Zarzosa, who was allegedly preparing a military uprising.
