Filmed in excellent tcchnicolour, 1 Drums Along the Mohawk, 1 at the State, is a film that cannot fail to appeal to all types of theatre-goers. It is a picture that will thrill youthful audiences as much as it will entertain and delight older film-goers. The photography is magnificent, the acting outstanding, and the whole story full of action and excitement. The romantic, adventurous days when America was young, with torch and tomahawk spreading their terror in the beautiful Mohawk Valley, are depicted with a zest that makes the film a rare treat. CRONIN MINING DRAMA. A. J, Cronin’s dramatic drama of coal-mining life, 1 The Stars Look Down,’ is scheduled for release at the State on Friday. The stars of this production are Michael Redgrave and -Margaret Lockwood, who made a good impression as a romantic team in ‘ The Lady Vanishes.’ Emlyn Williams is also featured.
