MARKET REMAINS FIRM RISE IN CLUTHA RIVERS With few exceptions the share list for the first call-ovcr this morning on the Dunedin Stock Exchange was a replica of yesterday’s. The most prominent change was the rise in Clutha Rivers, which with consistently good wash-ups in recent weeks, have advanced as to the bid to Is Bd, while sellers’ offers were not below 2s 3d. Mining shares continued to attract a good deal of attention. There was no variation at all in Government loans Other issues remained practically unchanged. The bid for G. J. Coles advanced slightly. The offer of Woolworths (Sydney) was reduced 5d from yesterday, but remained above the unchanged ‘ bid. Among the sales reported was one of Broken Hill Proprietary at £2 7s.
